Dragons are a monster class that appear primarily in the original FATE.

They are ranked among the strongest monsters that the player encounters in the game and are usually found well below levels 40-50. They have a smaller cousin, the drake, whose appearance is identical to that of the green dragon but are smaller and their breath attacks do less damage. Different classes of dragons emerge as you go deeper in the dungeons starting with lower level Green Dragons, and moving on to more formidable special dragon classes such as Venom Dragons and Thunder Dragons. They are also some of the largest creatures and they usually attack with breath attacks, so their attacks can be resisted if you have high fire, frost, lightning, or poison resistance.

Types of Dragons

Green Dragon

Green Dragons are first dragon species you will encounter, and also the most common. They are green in color and breathe fire, and thus are highly resistant to fire.  It is possible to reduce the amount of damage from the fire breath by using high fire resistance for your hero.

Ice Dragon

The second type of dragon to appear is the Ice Dragon. They are blue in color and breathe ice, and thus are highly resistant to frost.  It is possible to reduce the amount of damage from the ice breath by using high frost resistance for your hero.

Thunder Dragon

Thunder Dragons are the third known class of dragons.  They are gold in color and breathe lightning, and thus are highly resistant to electricity.  It is possible to reduce the amount of damage from the thunder breath by using high electricity resistance for your hero.

Venom Dragon

The Venom Dragon is the most powerful and rarest variety of dragons. They are black and magenta in color and breathe poison gas, and thus are highly resistant to poison.  It is possible to reduce the amount of damage from the poison breath by using high poison resistance for your hero. However, it is recommended to bring plenty of Antidotes or healing spells because the Venom Dragon's poison breath lasts for 5 minutes and drains approximately 10 HP per second.
